Jeff Smith is a good friend of mine, so I wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate him on his new career opportunity in the real estate industry. I can’t wait to see what he can do as a fully licensed Realtor with the Dean Aguilar Group in San Diego.

Jeff just recently earned his real estate sales license, but he is a veteran of the real estate industry. For the past 10 years, he has worked primarily in property management after he graduated from the University of Kentucky with his bachelor’s degree in economics. He started as a Leasing Consultant and ultimately worked his way up to Business Manager.

Seizing the Opportunity

Jeff realized there was only so far he could go in the property management side of real estate, so real estate sales presented a new challenge and limitless opportunities. One quote that kept running through his head was “It doesn’t matter how high you climb the ladder if the it’s against the wrong house.” Deep down, Jeff always knew that his true goal was to become a Realtor, so he worked hard to earn his license and was happy to find a great brokerage fit with the Dean Aguilar Group.

In his role as a Realtor, Jeff will be helping people throughout the San Diego area to buy and sell homes. Jeff was born and raised in Owensboro, Kentucky and he has lived in Indianapolis, Cleveland and Orange County during his years in property management. He relocated to San Diego two years ago and fell in love with the area. Jeff is an active individual and he’s passionate about sports, so the perfect weather and diverse culture of San Diego is ideal for him. He plays in a local soccer league and he also enjoys boxing, basketball, walking his dog, Leo, in the local park and trying out new restaurants throughout the area with his girlfriend and her daughter.
