My husband and I are more than happy with the final result of refinancing our home with Transparent mortgage. Danica, Beau, and Drew all worked tirelessly through the never ending changes that came with COVID as well as us living in Hawaii during the whole process. Our refinance was on hold for a couple of months due to COVID, but during that time they never missed a beat. Not only did they keep us updated, but they even got us a lower rate than was originally quoted. We were recommended by a relative and do not regret choosing them. Do not hesitate to contact them, they are amazing!

My first call to Transparent Mortgage was an interview to find out who they were, by whom the loan would be held ultimately, how much it would cost me to refinance and who was getting how much in fees and commissions. All responses were given without hesitation and thoroughly addressed each question. It was a startling conversation because of the candor with which I was treated.

Processing a mortgage loan is never fun but staff at Transparent we’re patient, helpful and kept things moving. The result:  we closed in 30 days. The notary handling the closing said most lenders and brokers were taking two to three months.  So that was exceptional service.

Best mortgage broker I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with! This time Beau called us up and told us about the fantastic refinance opportunity. We weren’t checking the interest rate market regularly, so without Beau, we would have missed a significant amount of savings. Again, he offered the best rate, no games.

Be aware of other online brokers who would quote you a low rate but couldn’t deliver once the process starts. I had an awful experience with a Costco broker before who baited and switched, then stopped communicating. It took almost 3 months to close…

This review is waaaaay late… I closed my refi with Beau and his team and the process went PERFECT. I am a busy working professional, mom, and just started gradschool – I’m busy and don’t really put up with nonsense. Wow, total honesty! This company is indeed transparent. I called them about a mortgage after my broker kept raising rates on me telling me that there was nothing he could do about it. I spoke to transparent mortgage and after understanding my situation they referred me to a major bank  that had a perfect program for my needs.  They could have tried to sell me a more expensive mortgage but were honest and simply referred me to a better choice. Beau Hodson at Transparent Mortgage helped me secure a mortgage for the purchase of our home. He provided top shelf service throughout the process including always making himself available (by phone, email, or text), taking the time to answer my many questions (and doing so quite candidly and clearly), and delivering on what he represented. As an unmarried 24-year-old (23 when we first started the mortgage process) looking to purchase a home for the first time, a lot of brokers I initially spoke to did not take me seriously; let alone give me the time of day. Not Beau. When I first messaged Transparent Mortgage on Yelp, Beau responded within minutes and called me the next day. He spent an hour on the phone answering every single one of my questions (without being condescending or coming across as if I was wasting his time in the slightest bit, unlike some of the other companies I had spoke to prior).

After our initial conversation I knew my search was over and that Transparent Mortgage was the perfect fit for me and my mortgage needs. From day one they’ve lived up to the name of the business by being completely transparent throughout this entire process. Our first phone call was 10 months ago. At the time I was ready to begin the process of getting pre-approved so that I could then start the home search. I recently completed my second loan through Transparent Mortgage, and both times it has been outstanding.  The first time was for my Home purchase about 3 years ago, and I just finished a refinance with them last month.

As a true masochist I was thinking about getting punched in the groin, juggling chainsaws, walking on hot coals, playing in traffic, swimming with sharks, cliff diving, or going to Jeffrey Dahmer’s house for dinner, but none of those seemed quite painful enough. So, in an effort to inflict as much pain on myself as possible I decided to buy a house.

Yes, the process is painful, friends. That’s why finding a break in the torture is not only welcomed but very, very soothing. None of that sleazy shiz from Beau and Danica though, a couple class f#cking acts I tell ya.

Seriously though, Beau and Danica make the process painless and comprehensive. They’re in constant contact the entire time and there are no stupid questions. To praise these peeps even more, they don’t hate or want to kill me. Why would they you ask? Well, while in escrow the house I was shooting for appraised under our offer to the seller and the inspection revealed some major repairs. Ultimately the deal fell through and I thought for sure that I’d wake up to a flaming bag of dog s#it on my doorstep for what could be misconstrued as me wasting everyone’s time – that was not the case. What was the case was a call from Beau reassuring me that this happens all of the time and that they’ll be there the second that I need them again. The good news is that day is coming (sooner than later I hope) and Beau and Danica’s cool composure and massive understanding will keep me loyal to Transparent Mortgage now and when I become the Monopoly Man buying houses and hotels.

So glad we heard about Transparent Mortgage from a friend.  Beau and his team helped us with a re-finance a few years ago.  This summer they helped us buy a home on Coronado, which is no easy task by any means.  Beau, Danica, and Heather were all super responsive to all of our questions and concerns.  Our mortgage financing was quite challenging for a variety of reasons but they got it done at a good rate, and even early!!!  We used Wells Fargo for our original loan on our condo in 2012.  That process was extremely painful.  The process with Transparent Mortgage was far from painful.  We pretty much consider them family now.  Hoping to have the team over to our new home soon for some celebratory cocktails and cornhole in the backyard!

Another super satisfied customer.  To be honest, I had originally financed my house with my brother’s ex and as rates had dipped, it seemed like a good time as any to refinance.  I had been with this other company through this relationship, but didn’t feel necessarily any loyalty to stay, but as I’m fairly busy and travel a lot, just was going to refi with them because it was easy.  Until one day, the other company demanded that I sign some document within a day, and I was travelling for business.  I told them from the get go I was very busy, and travel a lot and am not always available for signing, and since I couldn’t make that date, they told me I could continue to refi but the rate would be higher.  At that time, that’s when I started shopping around.  I found beau on yelp, but also looked at my bank, and some other places.  Beau provided the best rates, and when I made it clear to him and heather that I do travel, they went through hoops to make sure that my schedule was accommodated to make this work.  I appreciate their transparency (ha!) and getting back to me about questions/responsiveness, even in the face of what I’m sure were pretty amateur questions since I’m new to all of this.  I think they get that this is a long term committment with a lot of money for folks, and appreciate that, so instead of giving attitude (like my previous mortgage place) they were patient and kind, even when I was a bit short and curt.  THey had a travel notary who was super nice and thorough, come in on a Saturday to get the papers signed before hte window closed, and have been helpful even after close, which I appreciate (e.g., when do I have to pay my mortgage?)  I have even now referred them to my parents, who closed on their refi today.  Thank you heather and beau!
